LOCATION
The base camp will be set up at the Timber Creek Campground.

Driving Directions: There is ZERO cell service anywhere near Sawmill Canyon! Use GPS or screenshot these directions before you leave.
From Howe, ID (there are no services in Howe.) Head north east on Little Lost River HWY (the only road that goes north out of Howe) for 37.8 miles then make a slight right on Sawmill Canyon RD. Follow FS101 for 13.7 miles, then make a slight left towards Timber Creek Campground. The base camp will immediately be on your right after turning towards the campground, look for the IFTMA club trailer.
From Ellis, ID (also no services in Ellis.) turn south off of Hwy 93 onto Pahsimeroi RD. Shortly after you loose cell service, and driving PAST Summit Reservoir, start looking for the ITMA signs. 53.7 miles after leaving HWY 93, make a hard left turn onto Sawmill Canyon RD and follow the above directions.
Little Lost River Hwy/Pahsimeroi RD are both in really great shape! Sawmill Canyon RD/FS101 is more rocky and bumpy. So slow down and take your time if you’re pulling a trailer.
Here is a quick look at the set up we anticipate for base camp!

Please remember that we need to make sure all that all campers/tents stay 30ft from the creek to help protect the fish! We will have this marked off to help everyone remember!
